Sparks Hosts First Light: A Morning for Marketing Leaders Ahead of EMS

Sparks First Light at GreenGale Farm — senior marketing leaders gather the morning before EMS 2026

Before the industry gathered at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the 2026 Experiential Marketing Summit (EMS), Sparks hosted First Light. An exclusive gathering of senior marketing leaders at GreenGale Farm, set across open fields and tree-lined paths thirty minutes from the Strip.

Held in the hours before a week of velocity, First Light was about what happens when senior marketers trade the convention floor for a morning together: longer conversations, a shared meal, and a chance to reset before the week begins.

The gathering reflected the breadth of brands shaping experience today, with senior marketers from technology, healthcare, professional sports, hospitality, and global non-profits sharing a single long table in the open air. Without an agenda or a panel in sight, the morning set the tone for everything the week would become.

A Morning with Goats

Goat yoga in the open grass — the first sign First Light wasn't going to behave like the rest of EMS week

The morning began before the meal, with goat yoga in the open grass. It was the first sign that the day wasn't going to behave like the rest of the week. By the time guests took their seats at the table, the conference floor felt much further away than it was.

Breakfast was produced by Outstanding in the Field, the farm-to-table team known for staging meals on the land that grows them, with long communal tables running beneath the trees and florals hung above. Chef Jackson Stamper of Ada's — one of Las Vegas's most respected kitchens — carried his kitchen outside for the morning with a menu built around the farm and the season, coffee poured by Mothership at the edge of the field, and conversations that ran longer than they had time to.

A Look Inside First Light

Longer conversations at the communal table — what happens when senior marketers trade the convention floor for a morning together

First Light is an expression of what Sparks designs for: the kind of exclusive moment that doesn't scale, and isn't meant to. A coffee cart in the right place. A long table under the right trees. A small group of the right people, an hour before the rest of the day begins.
